How a CSGORoll Battle Works
A player creates a battle by choosing one or more cases and a player count. Other players join by paying the same case cost. Everyone opens the same cases in the same order, totals are compared, and the winner takes every item. The site makes its margin on the case prices; the battle itself adds no edge. Every opening is provably fair with a seed you can verify after the round.
Modes
| Mode | Rule | When it suits |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | Highest total wins everything | Default; close contests on low-variance cases |
| Crazy | Lowest total wins | High-variance cases where one hit would otherwise decide it |
| 2v2 | Totals combined per team; team pot | Sharing cost on expensive cases with a friend |
| 3 and 4 player | One winner takes all | Bigger pots, lower base chance (33% or 25%) |
| Group | All players share the items equally | Opening together without competing |
| Terminal / jackpot variants | A final case or draw decides | Variance for its own sake |
Odds & Cost
Your base chance equals one over the player count: 50% in a 1v1, 25% with four players. The pot scales the same way, so expected value is identical across sizes; what changes is variance. The real cost of a battle is the full entry, because you can lose 100% of it, and the house edge is the gap between case price and average contents, usually 10% to 25% on CSGORoll cases.
Case choice shapes the result. Cases full of similar-value items produce close totals and a win rate near the base chance. Cases with one knife and many cheap skins produce a floor most of the time and one decisive hit, so the hit decides the battle. Crazy mode inverts that and rewards the floor.
How to Join or Create a Battle
- Deposit skins or crypto and enter code CSGS before your first deposit for the free cases.
- Open Case Battles, filter by price, and join an open battle, or create one by picking cases, player count and mode.
- Wait for the lobby to fill; on CSGORoll most low and mid price battles fill in seconds.
- Watch the openings; items settle to the winner's inventory immediately.
- Withdraw won skins rather than re-entering them into bigger battles.
Bankroll Rules
- Keep a single battle entry under 5% of the session bankroll
- Use the free cases from the code as your first entries
- Avoid creating high-value battles that may not fill; join existing ones
- Verify one opening on the fairness page so you know the check works
- Set a session limit before you start
FAQ
Is there a house edge on CSGORoll case battles?
Only the case price margin. The battle is a straight comparison of totals with no additional fee.
How fast do CSGORoll battles fill?
Low and mid price battles fill in seconds because CSGORoll has the largest player base in skin gambling; very high-value battles can wait.
What is crazy mode on CSGORoll?
The lowest total wins instead of the highest, so the player with the worst openings takes the pot.
